The famous internet phenomenon Rick Astley and the rickroll prank has now become an optical illusion. Look at the black and white abstract picture below and stare at the plus sign in the middle of the picture for 30 seconds or longer. After 30 seconds look away and blink fast repeatedly.
This is a really cool variation of the disappearing dots optical illusion. Follow the movement of the rotating pink dot with your eyes and then stare at the black plus sign in the center of the image. The pink dots should turn to green dots. Now keep staring at the plus sign in the center again, and after a short time all the pink dots should disappear and all you will see is a rotating green dot!
Stare at the black dot in the center and the blue, magenta, and yellow spots around the black dot will begin to disappear. Did it work? If not you might want to move your head closer to the image.
